In addition I am also in charge of covering intellectual property-realted developments (anything to do with trademarks, patents, copyright) in Europe, an area that is attracting increasingly more attention with the rise of fake every day consumer goods and movie and music piracy for instance. My job brings me in close contact with global decision makers on a weekly basis, including lawyers, judges, EU officials and company executives.
