Ruediger Fox is an EBBF member and one of the youngest corporate CEOs in Germany - he has recently been asked to present in front of an audience of 700 people at Siemes to inspire them towards a values based leadership model.

In the image below you can see an extract from the Christmas Card that he had his company produce. A very simple example of how to use all tools available to companies to communicate strong values-based messages, which necessarily need to be accompanied by coherent actions and relationships within and outside the company.

1. Global Product Manager: Coffee – Fairtrade Labelling Organization – Bonn, Germany

Fairtrade Labelling Organizations International (FLO) unites the producer-, market- and businessfacing activities within the Fairtrade Labelling system. The Global Product Manager for Coffee forms part of the newly-created Fairtrade Global Product Management function.

The key objective is to understand and manage the supply-demand balance for coffee and guide coffee operations of Fairtrade to ensure growth of markets and to maximize the impact of Fairtrade on coffee producers worldwide. The Global Product Manager for Coffee will liaise with the Fairtrade Labeling Initiatives who promote Fairtrade coffee in their respective markets; the Fairtrade producers and Producer Networks representing Latin America, Africa, and Asia; other key stakeholders and experts in coffee; and the internal units within FLO. The interaction is essential in order to devise and implement a global Fairtrade coffee strategy.

Principal role and responsibilities:

Research, develop and maintain in-depth understanding of current, future and historical context of conventional coffee operations and the Fairtrade market to inform strategy and plans. This encompasses comprehensive analysis of the supply chain (origins, processes, bottlenecks, producer base, key players, potential risk and opportunities) and external market (global potential, competition, demand)

Skills required:
    * Specific product knowledge and experience of coffee production and trade
    * Experience working in or with Fairtrade coffee supply chains or with related standards, certification or development programs
    * Experience in managing cross-functional teams and groups
    * Outstanding communication and relationship management skills
    * Fluent English and Spanish
    * Experience in managing, mentoring and coaching direct reports
    * Strong inclination for project management and meeting deadlines
  
   Preference for location is Bonn, Germany, but there is flexibility in where this role may be geographically located. Regular international travel is expected.

2. Internship—CSR Europe—Brussels, Belgium

CSR Europe offers an internship and learning opportunity in a multinational team in Brussels for a student who is interested in CSR as well as in dealing with international companies, European activities and research. The intern will in return be asked to contribute to the IT and Finance/Administration departments of CSR Europe.

The successful candidate will assist staff members with a number of activities contributing to the IT and Finance/ Administration department:

    * Liaising with the external IT company (ensuring weekly updates & maintenance)
    * Assisting with general finance and administration tasks
    * Assisting with the offices move

    * Updating financial software

Person specification

3.  Team Leader - VET Curriculum Development Expert - CfBT Education Trust - Croatia

CfBT Education just have just been shortlisted for this two-year project. It will establish innovative/modernised mechanisms at national/regional level that enable access of students with disabilities into the vocational education and training (VET) system.

Experience required: All applicants need to have worked on at least 1 project covering all the following requirements within the last three years:
1. in the fields of education and/or disadvantaged groups and/or employment;
2.implementation in a country eligible under IPA (EU Member States, Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Kosovo under UNSC Resolution 1244/99, the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, Montenegro, Serbia and Turkey).

Qualifications and skills

1. Masters' degree in education or vocational or technical education;
2. Fluency in both written and spoken English;

General professional experience
1. 10 years professional experience in the VET out of which at least 3 years in the VET reform processes at a senior level (in managerial positions);
2. 1 year of work experience in transition and/or pre-accession countries;
3. Experience in managing projects funded within the framework of EU programmes;
4. Experience in developing methodology and/or policy making within educational system of students with disabilities is considered to be an asset

Specific professional experience
1. Experience in the development of occupational standards and qualifications
2. Experience in developing VET curricula;
3.Experience in developing curricula for students with disabilities
4. Experience in designing capacity building activities for the staff of the key counterparts in the area of persons with disabilities.

The person

Various services will be required to support clients at different project stages - ie concept, consultation, design, tendering, implementation and review - as well as in research studies, training and capacity building. Making travel and other arrangements in good time in a cost-effective, convenient way. Etc.

Essential Experience: A minimum of 2 years in an international office environment or a very bright self-starter. Working with the MS Office suite of programmes – at a minimum: Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.

Knowledge & Qualifications: Educated to at least first degree level. An understanding of the Fairtrade movement would be very useful. Numerate and capable of understanding and interpreting financial reports, statistical analyses, etc. A facility with the internet and how to conduct searches is essential.
 
Skills & Abilities: Fluency in English, good working German. Ability to create accurate, well-presented written material. Highly organized, ability to prioritise a varied and fast-changing workload. Pleasant telephone manner.
Personal Qualities: Friendly, outgoing and committed to support. Pleasantly assertive. Persistent and conscientious.

The working language is English
Salary: 32-35.000 Euro per annum, plus attractive benefits package.
