Warm welcome to new members


This month we have the pleasure of welcoming new members from: Bangladesh, Hungary, United Arab Emirates, Switzerland, France and Serbia.

 

Mr. Brice Iewellin - Bangladesh

Brice is now working in Bangladesh as a Project Manager for Grameen Danone Foods, a Social Business Enterprise. He is there in charge of supply chain and business development. Currently working on extending the ladies network from 42 to 650 in rural area, creating a 250 ladies network in slum area in Dhaka, putting in place partnership with NGO, measuring their social impact.

He writes that "I am fascinated by sustainable development in general and particularly by the bottom of the pyramid and social business subjects".

 

Yusuf Lasheen - Abu Dhabi, UAE

Yusuf Lasheen works as the Events/Sponsorship/Exhibition Specialist in a major telecommunications firm in the Middle East. His fields of activity encompass corporate events, sports sponsorships & activation, product/service launches.

He has a particular interest in introducing further Corporate Responsibility processes in his company, of all stakeholder issues, the one that he is working on today is his company's responsibility towards their suppliers and partners. He is looking for the EBBF network to provide him with support, ideas and experiences in developing his CSR strategies in his company and region.

 

Ms. Krisztina Berzei - Budapest, Hungary

Krisztina works for CEU in Budapest as Accounting and Reporting System Manager. Some of her previous employers include American Express Hungary, Genpact Hungary, GE Healthcare Hungary, General Motors Hungary Group, Arthur Andersen, Deloitte & Touche. She is a certified Hungarian Chartered Public Accountant and Hungarian Tax Consultant.

 

Michel Bachman - St. Gallen, Switzerland

Michel has just started a PhD at the University of St.Gallen, Switzerland most probably focusing on the intersection of social entrepreneurship and organizational psychology. He was previously involved in a variety of social projects around the world and a very active AIESEC member (Local Committee President 03/04). He was also a consultant with Booz & Co and did his master thesis on sustainable business development at the "Bottom of the Pyramid". He is interested in the emerging connection of ancient wisdom and (wholistic/integral) science as well as the current movements towards a conscious global society.

As he is currently in the process of finding a PhD topic that builds on his passion, allows for creativity and has a true impact in the world. He hopes to find inspiration within the EBBF network and connect with like-minded individuals that can support him in his process.

 

Ezzat Torabi - Lille, France

Ezzat joins the EBBF Interns team at the end of her degree in Applied Foreign languages (English and italian) at the University of Lille. She previously worked in an NGO The Barli Institute of Development for Rural Women in Indore, India: Updating articles about the NGO and working in the institute.

She was also a volunteer and guide for the Baha’i House of Worship in New Delhi, India, working with a team of 40 persons, guide about the history of temple in English and French to the eight thousand visitors a day and more than the double during weekends. She is particularly interested in developing video materials and external affairs of EBBF.

 

Zoltan Berei - Budapest, Hungary

Major in the Hungarian Army with a special interest in Social Economic Development.

 

Marija Ralic - Krusevac, Serbia

Marija also joins the EBBF Interns team bringing to EBBF her experience as Vice president for External Relations in AIESEC. There she was responsible for the development of the national partnership group and relations with important external stakeholders to ensure financial sustainability of AIESEC in Serbia. She ensured that the MC ER Team and the LC VPs ER were synergizing to drive maximum results.

As Marija stated in her application to join EBBF "EBBF is a great organization with clear mission and values. I think that those two things are missing in our corporate world. I am very interested in sustainable development and organizational culture. It would be great if WE together could change things."
