This is a three-years post-doc involving academic research as well as consultancy for Belgacom (Belgium), done in collaboration with Vlerick School and Solvay Business School to develop concepts and tools useful to transform corporate culture towards Corporate Social Responsibility. The postdoc will be a liaison with European & International initiatives such as CSR Europe, GRLI, UNGC to ensure complementarities of services and wider brand reputation.
Objectives
• Elaborate a normative model of responsible leadership in this 21st century; then operationalize this model by adapting it to the specificities of Belgacom, help Belgacom and its management team transform their culture and their behaviours in accordance with this new model of leadership
• Build a training program for executives and managers of Belgacom in this field and to elaborate a menue of other training opportunities available on the market which could suit the CSR needs of other Belgacom functions
• Provide support to the Louvain CSR Pole of Excellence and participate to the improvement of CSR teaching in the three management schools involved in the project
Requirements
For this project, we are looking for a talented and enthusiastic postdoctoral researcher (with a PhD degree) with affinity for both management science and Corporate Social Responsibility. Preference will go to candidates having already an experience within an enterprise or with the business community.
Furthermore the candidate should meet the following requirements:
• Ability to work in a team, and to collaborate with other disciplines
• Excellent communication skills in French and English
