Augusto Lopez ClarosAugusto Lopez-Claros has a degree in Mathematical Statistics from Cambridge University, England, and a PhD in Economics from Duke University, United States.

He is a former professor at the University of Chile at Santiago, a resident representative at the International Monetary Fund in Russia, a senior international economist at Lehman Brothers in London, and Chief Economist and Director of the the Global Competitveness Report 2006/2007 at the World Economic Forum.

In late 2006, he founded EFD-Global Consulting Network, a consultancy advising governments and private corporations on economic, financial, and development issues. More about Augusto on his website.

Larry Miller

For the past thirty years Lawrence M. Miller has worked to improve the performance of organizations and the skills of their leaders.

He has been consulting, writing and speaking about business organization and culture since 1973. After ten years with another consulting firm, he formed his own firm, the Miller Howard Consulting Group in 1983. In 1998 he sold his firm to Towers Perrin, an international human resource consulting firm and became a Principal of that firm.

Among his consulting clients have been 3M, Corning, Shell Oil Company, Amoco and Texaco, Shell Chemicals, Air Canada and Varig Airlines, Eastman Chemicals, Xerox, Harris Corporation, McDonald’s and Chick-fil-A, Merck and Upjohn Pharmaceuticals, United Technologies, Metropolitan Life and Landmark Communications. Kathleen Holmlund

Kathleen’s media and communications experience spans both the corporate and non-profit sectors. She has worked in Ireland, Israel, Italy, the U.K., and the U.S. After five years of media relations work in Washington, D.C., Kathleen is now based in Belfast, Northern Ireland, and oversees News Strategies™ operations in Europe.

Over the last three years, her primary focus has been on developing and expanding online media strategies for new and established brands through dynamic news sites and social networks. She specializes in developing and integrating online communications plans with social media platforms such as blogs, Facebook, Twitter, and Youtube.
