ebbf will take your sustainable idea to RIO+20

ebbf wishes to bring new energy to overcome the lack of momentum coming from the United Nations conference now taking place in Durban. An event that is supposed to set the scene for the global RIO+20 summit.

ebbf will be attending the RIO+20 sustainable development United Nations summit in June of 2012 and we would like to take you there: showcasing your “green / sustainable” company or showcasing your green projects or sustainable ideas.

We expect that this summit will need our collective inspiration and innovation to gain the momentum necessary to build the prosperous, just and sustainable civilization that we want to contribute to. We feel an urgent need for action and a new vision of the future are necessary to address the huge challenges that we are facing in what Arthur Dahl recently described (see his article below) as” a decisive decade” in our history.
We are specifically looking to hear from you if :
- you are also attending the summit with your company / organization to join efforts
- you wish ebbf to present there your company (or project, innovative idea) acting in the fields of sustainability, green economy, renewable energy etc.
- you wish to present at the global summit in a panel/workshop ebbf aims to organize
- you are interested in going to Rio de Janeiro to assist manning the ebbf stand and assist with ebbf external relations activities there
- you wish to take ownership for the “path to RIO+20″ campaign:
a series of virtual conversations that ebbf aims to start in January. A platform to collate ideas, examples and momentum for action in the areas of sustainability, climate change and the green economy.
