Responsible Business – what for?
The UN Global Compact asks companies to run and act responsibly along the 10 Principles derived from: the Universal Declaration of Human Rights,
the International Labour Organization’s Declaration on Fundamental Principles and Rights at Work,
the Rio Declaration on Environment and Development, and the United Nations Convention Against Corruption.
Much has been achieved in the last few years, and much still remains to be done. Here in Switzerland, some 150 companies are engaged in this process, but this is not enough. Together in this session we will discuss what role we can each play in bringing forward a respectful and responsible economy.
