EBBF Profile: Marc Avanzo – Putting work where your values are
EBBF member Marc Avanzo beheld in modern business a serious predicament. Like many others he noticed that its obsession with the ‘bottom line’ here and now was mining our human relationships and a long-term sustainable future. Impelled to act, he left his comfortable jobs in marketing and management with telecommunication firms and boldly stepped out on his own as a values-based consultant. As he says, “I personally don’t see the value of earning lots of money if it is not for a higher purpose.” And “…unless there is a change of values there will be no lasting change.”
