"... what we need is people in government and business that exercise moral leadership and go ahead of the curve and make the type of choices about what business is about ..."
"The morals here are about loving your neighbor. It really isn’t more advanced than that. You can look at it in detail and calculate which countries are more responsible for emissions, but everyone must look at this as an act of global solidarity."
In this interview Sylvia Karlsson-Vinkhuyzen tells her story of how her search for long-term solutions for global environmental problems led her to a career in science, and an appreciation for the role that spiritual principles--especially love--can play in guiding and motivating people and business to think about taking care of the planet for the generations to come.

EBBF Profile: Enrico Giraudi, Aligning Advertising with Sustainability
“Economics and business should serve people, not the other way round”. This is how EBBF member Enrico Giraudi sums up his vision for business, and he’s striving to bring his own profession in advertising in line with this philosophy. Working in Milan for one of the world’s largest advertising agencies, he’s tackling a major contradiction in his work: “The contradiction is between my values and the role that my job is still playing in society: pushing for growth without limits, pushing people to consume more and more products that are sometimes not really useful to us any more, and sometimes really unsustainable.”
“… Of course we need to do business and we cannot live off of non-profit work. But … are we sure we cannot give advertising an evolved role in the economy that is more consistent with the new paradigm of sustainable growth?” In this interview Enrico explores this question, and sketches out a vision of advertising for the common good.
