Values Based Leadership is a framework for action that responds to the new character of business, its growing importance and the need for a new paradigm of leadership.
Modern organizations are increasingly challenged by ethical scandals, growing diversity of employees and customers, in a continuously changing environment.
Ethical problems can be induced by behaviors of individuals at all levels in the organization often embedded in its culture.
The workshop presents a new conceptual framework called “Values-Based Leadership” which can help create and nurture an ethical environment within the organization.
The workshop is designed to offer participants a set of practical tools that will assist them to redefine their role in today's work environment. Irrespective of their formal position, it will empower them to become leaders capable of nurturing their personal ethical development while enhancing their effectiveness in serving the organizational and common good.
Who is the workshop for?
Leadership capacity is not dependent on one’s formal role within an organization. This workshop is intended for anybody concerned about ethics in their organization, who feels a desire to maintain or improve their organization’s ethical climate and who might be looking for concrete ideas and tools to do so.
The quality of a workshop is enhanced by the diversity of its participants, so we are accepting participants from a wide spectrum of personal and professional backgrounds.
What will the workshop offer?
A three day transformational journey to help you reach a new level of understanding of values based leadership and provide you with practical tools that you will be able to apply in your every day situations at work.
This interactive workshop will help you refine your leadership skills by enabling you to systematically explore your core values and by challenging you to learn new concepts and skills. The workshop consists of three stages:
Stirring up the dust
Aimed at providing participants with an important context and conceptual foundation for their learning, this section will deal with the following key questions:
What does it mean to be a human being living in the 21st century?
What is leadership and who is a leader?
What is development and how can it be achieved?
What are the processes of integration and disintegration and how leaders contribute to processes of integration?
What are mental models and how do they affect behavior?
Exploring leadership and values - a new leadership framework
Part II of the workshop will focus on the following key questions and concepts:
How to achieve service oriented leadership
How to foster personal, organizational and societal transformation
The moral responsibility to seek truth
The essential nobility of human beings
The power of transcendence
The process of developing capabilities
Initiating a Continuous Process of transformation
Part III will tie everything together and will explore the following key question:
How to initiate and maintain a continuous process of personal and organizational transformation
This section will engage participants in a systematic process of learning by acquiring the skills of reflection, consultation, and sustained action to empower individual to become agents of change and transformation within their organizations.
