We are facing a multitude of global problems today: deforestation in the Amazon, increasing health issues in the west, feeding an increasing global population, pollution in our oceans, and addressing the threat of global warming. What if there was a way that we as individuals could address all of these global problems simply by looking at the food we put on our plates? How can we become more mindful of the impact our food choices make, and begin to explore what can do to become more conscious consumers in both our personal and professional lives? Kelsey Hudspeth will share the different steps we all can take to have a more positive influence on our health and our planet.

This session will explore topics such as:
Networking: Why and how?
Public Speaking: Why is it so important?
Where to start + tips and tricks

Kelsey Hudspeth is an IBM Client Consultant by day, plant-based advocate and environmentalist by night. After finding her passion for food and sustainability when she became plant-based 3.5 years ago, Kelsey has become active in the plant-based and vegan community in Munich, and has been working together with business leaders and private individuals to raise awareness to the environmental and health benefits of incorporating more plant-based foods into our diets. Her goal is to empower individuals to begin to make changes to their plate, and to educate them on how these individual changes, however small, can have both a positive impact on both their individual health and the health of the planet.
