After having spent 10 years in Sweden, she currently lives in Spain where she enjoys taking part in the social community, always meeting new people willingly offering guidance to others. NABIL ELIAS – ebbf dean of education ( LinkedIn )
Nabil Elias is Faculty Emeritus at the Belk College of Business, University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Prior to his retirement, he taught in MBA and Master of Accountancy programs and was director of MBA programs at UNC Charlotte and University of Manitoba. He held positions as visiting professor at INSEAD (France), Thunderbird (USA), HEC (France), ESCP (France), Laval University (Quebec) and taught MBA classes at Monterrey Tech EGADE (Mexico), and UNC Charlotte’s MBA in Taiwan and Hong Kong. His areas of academic and professional interests include accounting and control, CSR, environmental management systems, negotiation, conflict resolution, governance, and ethics. He served as a member of the Canadian Accounting Standards Board, president of the Canadian Academic Accounting Association, and a member of CMA Canada accreditation teams of more than 15 leading English and French business schools. He served as a consultant and trainer to several US and Canadian companies and offered training programs at several professional accounting organizations and universities. As MBA director at the University of Manitoba he led several MBA delegations to Mexico, Hong Kong, China, and Japan focused on cultural understanding and international business. He also served as technical director of a World Bank project that in cooperation with the IMF developed the Egyptian Institute of Directors, developed its corporate governance curriculum, and trained the trainers. He is a Fulbright grantee and holds his PhD in Business from the University of Minnesota. He published and presented numerous professional and academic papers and coauthored several books. His passion is to learn and be involved in the process of transformation of business into organizations that serve all their stakeholders by reorienting their mission towards contributing to a prosperous, just, and sustainable society.

Dr. Jean Parker is an action-oriented, global thinker and strategist. She earned her Ph.D. in the Management Of Technology And Innovation from the Da Vinci Institute of Johannesburg, South Africa and the Trans4m Center For Integral Development of Geneva, Switzerland. She is currently a Senior Research Fellow at the Trans4m Center For Integral Development where she facilitates academic excellence in the development of integral research and innovation around the world. She specializes in conducting primary data collection through participatory research methods to bring forth the knowledge of grassroots constituencies to promote human rights and social change.
Dr. Parker lived and worked in India for ten years as a radio journalist specializing in social development and human rights reporting. She reported on the 2004 Indian Ocean tsunami and this lead to her doctoral research on emergency preparedness education through community radio in North Indian villages. She enjoys applying the Integral Worlds Theoretical Approach developed by Lessem and Schieffer of Trans4m as an analytical tool to uncover the imbalances causing social upheaval and discovering the unifying strategies to correct these imbalances. She plans to apply Integral Worlds to gain a greater understanding of cross-cultural influences resulting from migration and refugee movement.
